Theosspitbraai Catering strives to handle your catering request efficiently and thoroughly from start to finish.

It is, therefore, CRUCIAL for us that you carefully read through all the terms and catering conditions and familiarise yourself with our operations so that there are no misunderstandings on the day of your event.

  • Full payment needs to be made at least the day before the event, latest as soon as our team arrives on site. All Proof of Payments are to be sent on the email (theo@venueofjoy.co.za). No preparation will be done before the invoice is fully paid so we advise payment to be done in advance to avoid any inconveniences
  • Clients need to stick to the agreed serving time, failure to that will lead to overtime charges. We give you an hour to serve the food and an additional 30 minutes if there is any dessert
  • The team is not responsible to any damage of property as we expect the client to provide a well ventilated and spacious area for the team to offload and set up. please ensure that you cover all sensitive floors as there may be oil leaks during preparation and serving of the food
  • Client to be present or have a representative to welcome the team as soon as they arrive on site, the team will not set up before being instructed to do so. The team only answers to the event co-ordinator or a chosen representative
  • Client to go through the booking sheet and the menu together with the Chef before food preparations start to ensure everything is there and in order as discussed
  • Please make a provision for your own extra containers to decant any leftovers
  • Please ensure we have sufficient directions to your venue, if you know your premises are hard to locate on google maps, please arrange to meet our team at a central location to help direct them to your venue
  • All changes made telephonically should also be made via email to ensure smooth communication
  • All complaints are to be addressed on the day of the event, the sooner the better so that we can conclude and come to an understanding so both parties are left happy.
  • Our team is well trained, and they know quantity control, they will assist in serving the food and ensure everyone is served equally. Should the client decide for guests to dish up themselves, we are not liable for any shortages
  • Our portions are very generous, we guarantee every guest will be well fed, however, you know your guests better than we do. If you feel like they need
    larger portions, please instead ask us to quote for more people. You do get to keep all the leftovers after the event
  • Please do let us know of any special dietary requirements or allergies when making the booking. We are not liable for any allergies. Our dishes use specific spices and sauces without modification. Guests with allergies consume our products at their own risk.
